Dorcas Circle feeds over 200 local families every month with our food box program. That's a lot of food! It is also a lot of work to get all of that food off of our truck, put into boxes and distributed out. Every truck day, Dorcas gives out about 130 food boxes. We are looking for some extra volunteers to help us get the truck unloaded and the first round of boxes packed. Come on out and serve Huerfano with us! See you there!
This morning shift will be spent packing and dirstributing boxes. There are essential parts of this shift that will be less physically demanding. Volunteers can park on the South side of the Dorcas Building. Volunteers are more than welcome to get their monthly food box this day as well. Lunch and drinks are provided.
This posting is for the 10AM-12:30PM shift. There are also shifts available this day from 7:30 AM-10 AM and from 12:30PM-3PM
