Make an Impact in North Denver

Join Focus Points' Huerta Urbana, a one-acre urban farm fights food insecurity in North Denver's 80216 zip code. Last year, our farm provided fresh produce to over 800 local families through our Friday "pay-what-you-can" farmers market (June-October).

What You'll Do

Help with planting seedlings, weeding, moving soil, organizing seeds, and preparing garden beds.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal volunteers:

• Are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Are able to bend, kneel, and perform physical garden tasks
• Have a passion for food justice and community service

What to Bring

Please come prepared with:

• Water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Shirts with sleeves
• Long pants
• Gardening gloves (if you have them)
• Your energy and enthusiasm!
