Focus Points Family Resource Center (Focus Points) is a nonprofit organization committed to serving low-income families in the greater northeast Denver area. Focus Points was founded as a community resource in 1995 in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood with a mission to build better communities by strengthening families. In 2010, Focus Points moved into the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea (GES) neighborhoods and created culturally responsive, community-driven programs to provide comprehensive and specialized support to address obstacles to personal and family sustainability for families in GES and beyond. Focus Points accomplishes this through a two-generational (2Gen) approach by creating opportunities for and addressing the needs of both children and adults within the family unit. Each year, Focus Points serves nearly 3000 individuals, including low-income families, refugees, and immigrants.
