Empowering Voices: Youth Initiative for Refugee Support

I am the STEM Coordinator at Northglenn High School.  An important part of our educational design at Northglenn is that all students are presented with an authentic problem to solve, then they present their solutions to a panel of industry volunteers. We would love to partner with you and see this PBL (Problem Based Learning) as a great opportunity to do so.  The problem described below will be tackled by our students.  We hope that you can join us to provide feedback to our students around their solutions.

Session 1 (7:40-11:20 am) (26 panelists needed)

 

Session 2 (11:25 am-3:10 pm) (33 panelists needed)

 

Location: Northglenn High School - STEM Wing

 

Topic: Empowering Voices: Youth Initiative for Refugee Support

 

Problem: Local refugee services are in need of additional support as demand for services is increasing. State and national funding is not enough. They are seeking proposals and implementation of a fundraising campaign and other efforts.

Would you or any of your colleagues be available to help judge these presentations?
