The City of Westminster is partnering with Growing Home to address the increase in food insecurity nationwide.
Growing Home’s volunteer-run Food Pantry serves hundreds of individuals with fresh, healthy, and culturally-relevant foods.
We have different volunteer opportunity schedules:
Pantry Stocking:
-Monday: 9am-12:30pm and 12:30-3:00pm
-Thursday: 8:30am-12:30pm and 12:30-3:00pm
- Unloading a large amount of food into the food pantry
- Cleaning/sanitizing
- Organizing/stocking shelves
Food Pantry:
-Tuesday to Saturday: 8:30am-12:30am
- Lifting/stocking food
- Help families choose their food
- Support foot and vehicle traffic
- Support families in the waiting room
- Monitor the number of families
- Cleaning/sanitizing
