Job Title: Ambassador

Position Overview: The Ambassador serves as a vital liaison between Green Team Academy and their community, promoting the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives. Ambassadors play a crucial role in building relationships, raising awareness, and fostering engagement within their local community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Outreach and Engagement:

   • Actively promote Green Team Academy's mission, programs, and initiatives within the local community.
   • Engage with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to raise awareness and foster collaboration.
   • Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote environmental sustainability and community involvement.

2. Networking and Relationship Building:

   • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, businesses, schools, and other relevant organizations.
   • Identify and leverage opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborative projects to support Green Team Academy's goals.
   • Serve as a trusted resource and point of contact for community members interested in getting involved with Green Team Academy.

3. Communication and Advocacy:

   • Effectively communicate Green Team Academy's message, values, and initiatives through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and public speaking engagements.
   • Advocate for environmental sustainability and community action by sharing relevant information, resources, and success stories with community members.
   • Support and amplify Green Team Academy's advocacy efforts, campaigns, and calls to action within the local community.

4. Support and Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with Green Team Academy staff and volunteers to coordinate outreach efforts, events, and campaigns.
   • Provide feedback, insights, and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of Green Team Academy's programs and outreach strategies.
   • Serve as a supportive and enthusiastic member of the Green Team Academy community, contributing to a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

Qualifications:

• Passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and proactive with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in community outreach, advocacy, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools is a plus.

Time Commitment: This is a volunteer position with a flexible time commitment, typically requiring a few hours per week. Ambassadors may need to attend occasional meetings, events, or training sessions.
