Important, Please Read: Every individual volunteer must sign up on this website in order to complete online waiver. The only exception to this rule is if you bring a child under the age of 18. Then, you can fill out a waiver in person with the child present.
Volunteers will be preparing spaces for our guests to move in on a later date.
Duties: These volunteers could be doing any number of tasks! Cleaning rooms, assembling furniture, hanging curtains, putting hygiene kits together, setting up bike racks. We aren't always sure what tasks are needed that day but you will be able to choose your preference among the needed tasks.
Expectations: We are looking for people who are OK to "go with the flow"! Things can change at any moment so we expect volunteers to be nimble in the ways they help us to House 1000. This volunteer opportunity is great for people who may not be able to lift heavy bags during our activation days.
Requirements: Volunteers MUST complete the following prior to their first shift

What to wear: Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sneakers are recommended.
Location/Parking: Address within Denver will be given via email 2 days prior to shift. It is NOT 3399 Holly St.- that is Spark the Change's office.
Please note that in order to participate in this initiative, volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.
