Let's make these neighborhoods beautiful! Colorado is known for being eco-friendly and we want to make our Denver neighborhoods better than ever. Grab a group of a friends or family and join us for a fulfilling day outside.
Duties: Volunteers will be picking up trash and throwing it into a trash bag that we will provide. We will also provide gloves and masks.
Expectations: We expect volunteers to be prepared for any kind of Colorado weather. We'd like you to finish cleaning up the street you're assigned to at the beginning of the shift.
Requirements: Volunteers MUST complete the following prior to their first shift
- Sign Waiver
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sneakers are recommended. Dress for the weather outside.
Location/Parking:
Saturday, May 18th will have two opportunities 10 am to Noon and Noon to 2 pm.
In the morning, we will be in district 10 and in the afternoon we will be in district 7 (addresses to be given closer to date).
Spark will provide: Gloves, trash bags, sunscreen, water, snacks, and the ability to borrow safety vests and grabber tools
Important, Please Read: Every individual volunteer must sign a waiver before volunteering. This is easiest if you create a volunteer account with Spark, click "respond" to this volunteer opportunity, and you'll be directed to the waiver to fill out easily online before you arrive. Or, we will have paper waivers on site the day of the event. When signing up for a volunteer shift, it is a two step process for new volunteers. First, you must create an account on this website. Second, you have to sign up for the exact date/time/shift you want. You should receive an automated email with the exact date/time. If the email doesn't list a day/time, then you've only completed step one. Go back to the original link while logged in and click "respond".
