TRU Care trains and connects volunteers. As a TRU Volunteer you get to choose: the location, time/date, and person (s) from a list of well-cared-for patients. Training is thorough*, homes are vetted and once you learn the ropes, you set out to meaningful interactions, providing someone with your best.

*Volunteer training is mandated by Medicare and takes about 20 hours on a self-paced basis. before Volunteering. In the U.S., for the safety of the patients, this training is required for all volunteers, at any Hospice, by law.
