Board Recruitment Announcement (General)
The English Learning Center Denver (ELC) is seeking volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors. At this time we are particularly in need of someone who has experience with accounting, specifically familiarity with QuickBooks.
Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, and are expected to attend monthly board meetings, either in-person or by teleconference. Each applicant is also expected to serve on at least one committee for 6 months before becoming a board member. Committees meet once per month for about one hour. Members are also expected to make a personal financial contribution within their means or solicit personal or corporate funds.
We currently have over 100 students who come from over 35 different countries. We have schools at three sites and are hoping to expand to additional venues. Please contact us if you would enjoy working with our organization.
