Guests will be moving into new homes during this volunteer opportunity. Be sure to watch orientation videos before attending.
Duties: These volunteers will be helping at a hotel or micro community. Volunteers will kindly welcome passengers from the bus and direct them to the intake table. Volunteers need to be able to lift 30 lbs. onto a dolly to push to guest's rooms and may come in contact with big personal belongings such as suitcases and bicycles. If there is downtime, volunteers will be asked to do other tasks such as writing welcome letters to guests.
Expectations: We are looking for energetic, caring individuals who are comfortable having conversations with strangers. This is a very physical opportunity. Being able to lift and move over 50 lbs. is a plus!
Requirements: Volunteers MUST complete the following prior to their first shift

- Watch Orientation videos online at your convenience
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sneakers are recommended. Dress for the weather outside- you may go in and outside to bring in bags.
Location/Parking: Address within Denver will be given via email 2 days prior to shift. It is NOT 3399 Holly St.- that is Spark the Change's office.
Please note that in order to participate in this initiative, volunteers will be required to sign a waiver and watch training videos at their own convienence.
