Summit County Mountain Mentors is a well-established community-based mentoring program that matches caring adult volunteers with youth ages 8 to 16. Mountain Mentors' mission is "to positively influence the youth of Summit County to lead healthy lifestyles through a consistent, one-on-one relationship with an adult."
Join Mountain Mentors’ community of volunteers. Our volunteer mentors share a common passion for supporting young people. Whether you help your mentee with school, inspire them to be a leader in their community, or just have fun, mentoring can be a rewarding experience for both adults and young people. Mountain Mentors matches one adult with a young person age 8 to 16 to help ensure a young person’s success in life. Throughout the program, mentors and mentees receive ongoing support to create a positive and fulfilling experience, including access to monthly Mountain Mentors group activities.
Volunteers are asked to make a one-year commitment, meeting eight hours each month with their mentee.
