Description

Are you a life-long learner who enjoys talking with people to inspire curiosity and wonder about dinosaurs, fossils and our National Natural Landmark?

Dinosaur Ridge is the # 1 dinosaur tracksite in North America and a popular destination for visitors from around the world! Help greet, orient and educate dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages at our Main Visitor Center and exhibit hall.

4-hour shifts are available weekdays as well as weekends. Volunteer one or more shifts a week on a regular schedule or as you are available. Training is provided with experienced docents to mentor you as you learn about the role, exhibits and outdoor fossil sites.

Do you speak a second language?  Fluency in Spanish or any other language is especially helpful to greet our visitors from around the world!

Volunteers must complete a background check, review and sign our Volunteer Handbook and complete DEI training to serve in this role.
