As an offsite teleradiologist, the primary focus is to provide comprehensive and accurate reading of approximately 40 OB/GYN ultrasound studies per month in collaboration with the Women’s Clinic providers and Sonographer to determine patient diagnosis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Access Athena EMR to obtain patient history, and any dictated Provider/Sonographer notes regarding the ultrasound.
Read and interpret the outcomes of GYN and occasional early OB size and dates ultrasound images.
Dictate diagnosis, and report recommendations for future treatment in the patient's EMR.
Collaborate with both the Medical Providers and or Sonographer when needed regarding ultrasound studies that may be in question.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Radiology
