We are Athena Project – the Colorado nonprofit that amplifies the work of all women and underrepresented genders through the arts. By providing artists with paid work opportunities, we ensure audiences get to see and hear their work. Since 2012, through our programming and intentional partnerships, we invest in artist development, increase access to professional opportunities and build community by engaging audiences. Our work advances equity in the arts in Denver, Colorado and beyond.
Volunteer Description: Assisting the Fund Development Manager position, actively recruits new donors, stewards existing donors and solicits gifts from individual donors through personal contacts and correspondence to educate and engage them with Athena Project and its programs with the goal to increase their personal giving. (1-2 hours/week)
Preferred Skills:
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Customer service experience
- Must take initiative and proactively manage projects and schedules
- Be trustworthy and willing to protect donor specific information
- Familiarity with Google/G-Suite Drive system
