We're Athena Project – the Colorado nonprofit that amplifies the work of all women and underrepresented genders through the arts. By providing artists with paid work opportunities, we ensure audiences get to see and hear their work. Since 2012, through our programming and intentional partnerships, we invest in artist development, increase access to professional opportunities and build community by engaging audiences. Our work advances equity in the arts in Denver, Colorado and beyond.
Volunteer Description: Must access social media daily (or more often!) Looking for a minimum of 5 hours/week to schedule all posts then update and respond to posts on our social media channels, especially: Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube. Also assists with outreach to other social media channels to introduce our organization and build relationships. Assists with tracking tags and hashtags with all posts.
Preferred Skills:
- Must have expertise/familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Ability to create and manage social media calendars
- Proficient understanding on how to work scheduling tools like SocialBee
- Familiarity with Google/G-Suite Drive system
