Bilingue en ingles y español?
Do you enjoy working with children and learning about dinosaurs and earth science? We are looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers to help inspire students to be scientists as they observe, wonder, and learn about the lives and deaths of our backyard dinosaurs and the unique fossils, and geology found at this National Natural Landmark.
In-depth training is provided (training is currently only in English, but we do have printed Spanish materials as well as audio tours in Spanish). You do not need to have a background in geology or paleontology --just an eagerness to learn!
School tours and other scheduled outdoor education programs are conducted Sept-June on weekdays between 9am-3pm. During the summer, programs are conducted for camps and adult groups. Weekend walking tours are offered throughout the year. Volunteer as as often as you would like, with a min. commitment of 4-8 hrs/month for at least 6 months after completing training.
Volunteers must complete a background check, review and sign our Volunteer Handbook and complete an online DEI training to serve in these roles. To learn more and complete a volunteer application, visit https://dinoridge.org/volunteer/ . Questions? email volunteer@dinoridge.org
Come join our fun team of educators as we work to expand our Spanish language offerings to reach a wider audience!
