Help individuals experiencing homelessness by volunteering at the St. Francis Center (SFC)! SFC's Day Center helps Denver's unhoused meet their basic day to day needs, as well as receive services that will help them transition out of homelessness. Volunteers provide life changing services such as:
-
Checking guests* mail and messages
-
Helping guests access their items in storage
-
Assisting guests who are shopping in the clothing room
-
Distributing towels and hygiene items in the showers
Behind the scenes opportunities include:
-
Washing, drying, and folding towels
-
Sorting and organizing donations
The Day Center is open every day of the week between 7 am and 5 pm. Whether you would like to volunteer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, we provide flexible shift times and can work around your schedule!

* SFC staff and volunteers refer to those we serve as “guests” because of our strong commitment to hospitality, welcoming everyone who comes, and treating each person with dignity and respect.
