Position Overview
Help maintain and improve the functionality of Habitat’s headquarters by assisting with small repairs and upkeep projects. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and contributing to a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Repair equipment and appliances
- Perform small landscaping projects
- Fix minor plumbing and electrical issues
- Repair floor, door, or wall damage
- Mount items and assist with general upkeep
- Follow safety rules and regulations
- Support other facilities-related projects as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic experience in maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, landscaping, repairs)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Desire to support Habitat’s mission and values

- Attend a Volunteer Orientation. After submitting your application, you’ll receive details to sign up for a required orientation session. Orientation covers Habitat’s mission, safety protocols, and how to get started in your role.
- Get Scheduled. Once orientation is complete, you’ll be able to sign up for Tool Trailer Organizer shifts through the volunteer portal.
