March-June: Perennial garden cleanup, prepare garden beds, and planting.
Summer: Weed and maintain the flower beds End of summer through
October: Clean up the flower beds removing dead plants. Winter duties vary depending on projects. Activities occur mostly outdoors all over the City.
Requires bending, balancing, crouching, stooping, lifting, reaching, standing, walking and sitting due to the physical nature of caring for flower beds. Volunteer will receive full instruction on planting and growing techniques of plants.
