Our pantry volunteers work closely with our pantry manager and assistant to ensure that all food and hygiene products are handled with care. This role includes:
- unloading fresh produce, dry goods or hygiene products from our truck
- making produce, dry good or hygiene bags
On Wednesdays our pantry volunteers add extra support to get our food boxes and produce bags out to the community whether its working to handout out the products to the people or continuing to make bags and boxes , restock the assembly line or break down cardboard to prevent slips and injuries. Pantry volunteers work well together or as individuals and thrive in faster paced settings. Our pantry volunteers are major players and we can never have too many!
