Our annual Winter Fiesta is scheduled for December 1, 2023, at the New America School. This special event is our way of celebrating the joyous holiday spirit with our community. November 6 is designated for wrapping gifts that will be distributed to program participants.
Tasks: Volunteers will assist the PAT and HIPPY teams with wrapping gifts for the event to be distributed to children in either ECE program.
About Winter Fiesta: Winter Fiesta is open to 190 families participating in one of Focus Points’ Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs. These programs cater to families with young children, including Parents as Teachers (PAT), designed for parents with children ages 0-3 and the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program tailored for families with children ages 3-5. Families are treated to a fun-filled dinner, engaging games, crafts, and live music. Each family will be provided with a gift card to support their holiday meal preparation and a wrapped gift for each child.
