I’m inviting you to join me at CAA Health’s 23rd Annual Collaborative Health Expo on Saturday, March 30th at the DoubleTree on Quebec from 9:00 – 2:00. It’s a tradition in our community, it’s fun to attend and the awareness raised for individuals and families to take action to make choices to be healthier is invaluable.
This year’s Health Expo will feature free health screenings [e.g., Breast Exam, Prostate Health Screening/PSA Tests, Covid and Flu vaccines, Blood Pressure and Diabetes health risk screenings, and Biometric screenings], Hip Hop Extreme Aerobics, Yoga, Line Dancing, Face Painting & Balloon Art, and Health & Wellness learning sessions. And did I mention, prize giveaways like Janet Jackson and Usher concert tickets?
We need volunteers to greet exhibitors and help them set up. We also need information guides as community members arrive, people to help with surveys and volunteers to help the CAA Health team to set up equipment and supplies at the beginning of and end of the health expo.
The beauty of volunteering is that you only work 2-hour shifts, so you have time to visit all the exhibits and take advantage of the information and services they have to offer. If you’re interested in being a part of this exciting event, please let me know and I’ll add you to the volunteer list. We’ll host an orientation prior to the event so that you’re able to get acquainted with other members of our volunteer team.
