The Gathering Place

Throughout nearly 40 years of service, The Gathering Place has evolved, expanding our reach and deepening our impact. We developed culturally responsive programs that create pathways to stability while meeting basic needs. We continue to grow, offering trauma-informed care and wrap-around services focused on health, home, purpose, and community. Guided by our core values—empowerment, inclusivity, and hope—we are building a future where everyone has the opportunity to achieve stability and security, regardless of their background or identity.

The Gathering Place provides low-barrier, trauma-informed care to women, gender-diverse people, and children facing homelessness and instability. With access to basic needs like food, shelter, mail services, showers, and clothing, as well as long-term support such as housing assistance, mental health care, arts and wellness programs, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives—all at no cost to those we serve.
