Who We Are

The Downtown Denver Islamic Center (Masjid Al-Shuhada’) is an independent non-profit organization that provides a peaceful and welcoming space of Islamic rituals and education for all. Our mission is to empower low-income or vulnerable individuals of the Denver community through equitable access to direct and collaborative services to support their financial, social, spiritual, and personal needs.

What We Do

DDIC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing humanitarian services to immigrants, refugees, and low-income families in Denver. DDIC partners with local businesses, food banks, nonprofits, and individuals to leverage resources and create a network of support for those in need. DDIC is dedicated to creating a sustainable and equitable food system that benefits everyone in our community.
