Who We Are
Assistance League of Denver (ALD) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization serving vulnerable children and families in the Denver area since 1958. ALD transforms lives by collaborating with schools, families, and seniors to enhance educational experiences and improve health and well-being.
What We Do
Assistance League of Denver's Thrift Shop provides funds for philanthropic programs to:
- eliminate learning barriers by providing school clothing, books, and other support to students in underserved schools
- increase an individual's quality of life by loaning durable medical equipment free of charge
- reduce isolation for seniors by providing meals and social activities from a caring, wider community
- return dignity to assault survivors by proving new clothing and hygiene products
