Who We Are

CVA is a nonpartisan nonprofit animal advocacy organization working at the local, state and federal legislative levels to protect Colorado’s animals.

What We Do

CVA supports and helps elect animal-friendly candidates, lobbies elected officials on pending legislation, gathers and disseminates information about legislators’ views on animal protection issues, tracks and publicizes voting records of incumbents and the positions of candidates on animal protection issues, and mobilizes our members and the general voting public to lend their support.

	Festivals are in or around Denver area. We will work with your schedule.
	Currently, our volunteer opportunities consist of attending various festivals and events in Denver and the surrounding areas. No experience is necessary. You will be passing out information, and asking attendees to sign or complete forms for animal legislation they'd like to see become law. It’s very simple and fun! There will be other like-minded people you'll be volunteering with and you can always ask questions. The shifts are three hours long but you can volunteer for longer shifts if you'd like, and you’ll get a free Colorado Voters for Animals volunteer t-shirt!
