Colorado Young Leaders

At CYL we are empowering a new kind of young leader, one with a clear passion and purpose, a heart for others, and the confidence to explore the difference they can make in their communities! We are a student-driven organization, grounded in the belief that young people can change the world and animated by the core values of leadership, service, community, adventure, and legacy.

CYL enables high school teens to develop leadership skills through a dynamic action-oriented curriculum; inspires a sense of adventure through meaningful service-learning opportunities in the local community; and creates a community for teens to live out their discovered skills and passions in a positive way. We do that through: Service Adventures - Meaningful service projects that give you the chance to dig into causes you care about with a group of your peers and have fun while doing it! Local Changemaker Meetings and Events - A variety of opportunities to build leadership skills, amplify your voice, and have fun with your peers. Includes our chapter meetings that occur twice a month from September - May. Individual Service Opportunities - Volunteer opportunities that are perfect for teens and provided directly through our broad network of nonprofit partners.
