Volunteer: Jefferson Symphony Board Member

Do you live in Jefferson County, Colorado? Do you have an interest in promoting live, symphonic music concerts to all ages? Help Keep the Music Playing for the community and join our team!

Jefferson Symphony Association is community orchestra in Golden, Colorado that is now in our 73rd season. 75 volunteer musicians present 5 regular season live, symphonic concerts, as well as an outdoor summer concert and chamber recitals.

The board meets virtually for 2 hours once a month.  Board participation is encouraged at concerts and events, about once every six weeks. No minimum donation required, and no musical experience necessary!

We are looking for people who live in Jefferson County, especially Golden, to help promote JSO as we work toward our 75th Season in 2028.

Board terms are 3 years, usually elected at the association membership meeting in May, though the board may appoint new members to fill vacant positions.
Board officers are elected to serve one year terms.

If you are ready to join us, please email Nominating Chair Greg Eifler at GEfiler@comcast.net for an application.
