Volunteer: Ongoing In-Office MESA Volunteer (Non-Client Facing)MESA is Boulder County’s Sexual Violence Resource Center and has been serving the community for over 50 years. While our work began with volunteers, our volunteer program has evolved over time. As we move into 2026, MESA is currently offering two distinct volunteer opportunities, each with different purposes, expectations, and levels of commitment. One opportunity is as an Ongoing In-Office MESA Volunteer (Non-Client Facing). Ongoing volunteers provide consistent, behind-the-scenes support for MESA programs and operations. These roles support staff capacity and do not involve direct client contact. Possible Support Tasks (based on skills and interest) include preparing support group materials and packets, maintaining the yoga studio space (organizing supplies, cleaning mats, laundry support), assisting with Women’s Circle preparation, updating brochures and printed materials, supporting outreach research and resource lists, helping with basic administrative or data organization tasks, and assisting with presentation materials or website review, if applicable. This role requires a higher level of commitment and a structured onboarding process which does include a full day in person attendance at a new employee orientation in Lafayette. A background check is required for all MESA employees and volunteers. 18 years old plus invited to respond. Shifts times are variable and can be at the office or at home, although we provided Monday shifts as a possible schedule.
