Weaver Creek Park is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and hosts a community garden, 100s of fruit trees, a quiet bee hive, and butterfly garden. Between all of these areas, the gardens need a little bit of help.
We are scheduling this event to bring together volunteers to help us get the park into shape.
Our hope is that together we will:
- Repair a fence which is falling down (all materials purchased and ready, Just need human power).
- Mulch Fruit Trees to help conserve water.
- Repair Irrigation Leaks.
- Build New Garden Beds in the community (TBD)
Note. This is a family friendly event. We have restrooms, water, snacks, and tools on site... As well as extra sunscreen if anyone needs it!
