About Us:
Scholars Unlimited is an afterschool and summer program for elementary school students living in metro Denver. It’s our organizational commitment to empower our scholars to achieve academic success and social-emotional growth.
Volunteer Description:
This signature event is dedicated to celebrating our scholars, and coming together as a community to build on the strong foundation of Scholars Unlimited’s work.
As a volunteer, you will help us through our event logistics, such as set-up and check-in, staging, and break down. Our event is Tuesday, June 18th at Upper Larimer, located at 3034 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205. We have three volunteer shifts available for the day, starting at 9:00 AM.
Volunteer Shifts and Responsibilities:
Set Up and Check-In Shift: 9:00 - 11:00 AM
- Help the Scholars Unlimited team set up the centerpieces for each table, step and repeat photo booth, and mimosa bar
- Check-in and welcome guests as they arrive and answering any general questions
- Some heavy lifting may be required
Staging Shift: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Move and arrange stage items as needed during the event
- Help with slideshow and ensure it is corresponds with the event flow
- Some heavy lifting may be required
Breakdown/Clean Up Shift: 1:00 - 3:00 PM
- Help reset the venue
- Assist with loading any vehicles with supplies
- Some heavy lifting may be required
Volunteer Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to venue space.
- Please arrive for your volunteer shift at least 10 minutes prior for check-in and signing the Volunteer Waiver.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes.
