About Us:
Scholars Unlimited is an afterschool and summer program for elementary school students living in metro Denver. It’s our organizational commitment to empower our scholars to achieve academic success and social-emotional growth. Each year, we have the opportunity to partner with Denver, Aurora, Sheridan, and Westminster school districts and serve hundreds of students.
Volunteer Description:
Our Lunch of Scholars is our annual fundraising event, and it’s our opportunity to bring together our community of supporters, share a meal with them, and spotlight upcoming plans for our program. As a volunteer, you will help us through our event logistics, such as set-up, check in and greeting. Our event is Thursday, June 22nd at Upper Larimer. If you are looking for a way to impact your community, or are in need of volunteer hours, this is a perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Help set up event space such as tables, signage, and check-in tables.
- Greet guests, and ensure for a quick check-in process by.
- Directing guests to general areas of the venue such as bathrooms, and answering any general questions they may have.
- Support the Development Team as needed.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to venue space.
- Please arrive at Upper Larimer by 9:00 AM.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes are not required, but highly recommended.
