Volunteer: Care Package Delivery Driver - There With Care

As a volunteer with There With Care, you are the heart of our mission. Every care bag delivery you make provides comfort, nourishment, and hope for families facing medical crises. Families with a seriously ill child shouldn’t have to worry about groceries, meals, or basic supplies.

Each week we deliver specialized care bags to more than 80 families. We rely on volunteers to help make this happen. This is a wonderful way to lighten the load that families face during a medical crisis.

Volunteers schedule a time to pick up packages from our Cherry Creek pantry and deliver to families either at or near Children’s hospital. These volunteer shifts happen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during business hours. Drivers must be 18 or older.

What this looks like

One to two delivery trip assignments per month (you select) You can choose just one delivery for one family or take on multiple families during your trip. Flexible weekday timing – Tuesday through Thursday business hours You use your own vehicle You coordinate with family for delivery day and time that works for both of you.

We ask volunteers who are interested in making care deliveries to fill out our application and background check and then attend one of our training sessions where we will give you all the information you need to support families and allow them more time with their child.

Who this is great for

Retirees or empty nesters Stay-at-home parents with daytime availability Anyone who wants to make a real difference in a short amount of time

No experience needed — just a reliable car, a caring heart, and the ability to lift light bags.

If you’re looking for a simple way to help a family when it matters most, this is it.
