Volunteer: Food Support & Meal DonationsHelp ensure guests have access to nutritious meals. Volunteers can prepare and serve meals onsite, drop off prepared meals, or help organize the pantry and food donations. Food Prep & Dropoff Volunteers: RecoveryWorks seeks volunteers to prepare a dinner meal at their home for approximately 20-25 adults. There is no set menu. Ideas include a main dish with 1-2 sides (e.g., salad, fruit, bread). The meals do not need to be delivered hot but they do need to be fully cooked. The RecoveryWorks Center does have an oven and microwave for reheating. Meals need to be delivered to RecoveryWorks at 14825 W. Colfax Ave, Lakewood, Colorado. Meals can be dropped off between 8:30-3. *Once signing up for a shift, you will be contacted by our Food & Hospitality Manager to coordinate the food donation.
