Volunteer: Learn Construction Skills & Repair Homes in Denver!Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver partners with existing homeowners on essential home repair projects so they can live safely and affordably in their homes for years to come. Habitat Metro Denver offers external home repair in 17 metro Denver neighborhoods, including Northeast Park Hill, East Colfax, Globeville, Elyria Swansea and Southwest Denver. These home repair projects can include a new roof, new siding and paint, porch repairs and energy efficiency projects such as new doors and windows. Partnering homeowners only pay about 5 to 10% of the cost of the repairs. Starting in August 2025, projects will be available in the City of Commerce City with a high need for volunteers. Volunteers help with the repair projects; no experience is necessary! Our staff will teach you everything you need to know. Projects are available Wednesdays - Saturdays and are full day opportunities. Sign-up for a shift here.
