Colorado Resilience - Mission

The Mission of Colorado Resilience is to improve child and family wellbeing for families where parents separate or were never together. We know parents who work together to love, care, and provide for their children, will have greater family resilience and their children will be statistically better off by every measure of safety, mental and physical health, and wellbeing.

Critical to any organization in achieving its mission is an engaging website and effective social media strategy. This volunteer role will help define and execute on a social media strategy/plan.  SEO knowledge and experience is a big bonus. 

Responsibilities, Specific Duties & Qualifications:

Remote position, 2-4 hours a week, ongoing.

Technically capable, quick learner, creative problem solver, takes initiative and ownership of tasks. Works independently with limited guidance/direction, personable, optimistic, and passionate about having an impact on communities of color that are disproportionately affected. bi-weekly meetings with executive director. Wants to grow their technical and problem-solving skills. Have the courage to fail and try again. Work in support of activities, events, and efforts to raise awareness and funding. HubSpot (CRM/email management tool) and SEO knowledge and experience are a big plus.

Volunteer: Board of Directors - Child & Family Resilience

Colorado Resilience (COR) is a newly formed nonprofit organization with a mission to strengthen child and family resilience by encouraging parents who separate or were never together to work together to love, care, and provide for their children. We are seeking candidates to join our Board of Directors.

The Board establishes policy, directs the activities of the organization, and approves budgets. Members govern the overall direction of COR and provide input and resources to the organization’s programs. Participation in a leadership role offers a chance to be a key player in shaping COR’s future and to gain practical leadership experience, along with developing a network of professional contacts.

Board members may serve as officers, Team co-chairs, or appointed representatives. Members serve two-year or three-year terms, with a limit of two terms. The Board meets monthly for 2 hours virtually and can require a time commitment of up six hours monthly.

COR is seeking candidates with a background in human services, early childhood development, mental health, and/or nonprofit leadership experience.

Board Members are expected to:

Contribute to the financial success of the organization Attend all board meetings Provide input to operations As able, participate in programs, events, and fundraising efforts Promote COR to colleagues, the community, and other relevant & aligned organizations
