Project Helping volunteers will help honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy by coming together in service, compassion, and community action. Our central focus is a large-scale food drive supporting Denver Public Schools Foundation's Community Hubs, which provide essential resources to students and families across Denver.

Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring non-perishable items to help stock the Community Hubs' food pantry. Your donations will directly support local families experiencing food insecurity and ensure children have consistent access to nourishment outside of school hours.

In addition to the food drive, volunteers will also assemble Dignity Kits - carefully curated hygiene kits designed to support our unhoused neighbors with comfort, essentials, and dignity.
