Volunteer: Reading for Peace Volunteer

Reading for Peace provides trained volunteers to elementary schools to read and discuss children's books that teach and reinforce skills related to feelings, friendship, kindness, empathy, problem solving and understanding differences. Reading generally occurs on Thursday afternoons at a variety of schools throughout the Denver metro area. Volunteers are required to complete an online Volunteer Application and a basic Background Check and are provided with training prior to going out to schools.
