Who We Are
SparkHope Automotive (formerly Hands of The Carpenter) is a faith-based nonprofit serving working single moms by addressing barriers to safe and reliable transportation. SparkHope provides automobile placement, repair, and routine vehicle maintenance to relieve the financial burden and related distress that automobile repair puts on working single moms and their opportunity for self-sufficiency.
OUR MISSION SparkHope Automotive offers hope to working single moms by providing automobile services to partner in their efforts towards employment economic self-sufficiency.
OUR VALUES
- Service with Passion and Humility
- Purposeful stewardship of resources (time, finances, in-kind gifts, partnerships)
- Integrity, honesty, and respect for all
What We Do
When women’s cars are broken, we fix them. When they’re beyond repair, we find safe cars for them. SparkHope Automotive is the only organization consistently and comprehensively offering these services. Through financial gifts and active involvement, the community of supporters at SparkHope allows for assistance to the initial car issues to be addressed and for their vehicles to be maintained and repaired for three years.
