Houses for warriors

We are a 501c3 called Houses for Warriors. We are a volunteer run program with a transitional home in Lakewood,CO. Our goal is to get veterans off the street, end suicide and to ignite change. We want all veterans to belong to and be vital members in their community.

We give a hand up, not a hand out to veterans and first responders experiencing homelessness or who are under-housed. We provide a no cost, transitional home that is a stable environment where veterans can focus on changing their path to independence. This includes benefits, job training, goal setting, mentorship, accountability and a personal development seminar. When one of our graduates moves on to independent living we furnish their apartment from our donations and we even do the move with them!
