Who We Are
We are a Christian homeschool speech and debate league for students aged 12-18.
What We Do
Our mission is to equip and challenge our students to communicate a bold message with courage, confidence and competence in a manner that glorifies God. We are a network of clubs and coaches who host tournaments throughout the state of Colorado. We actively canvass the community for volunteers to serve as judges at our tournaments. No experience is necessary -- just the willingness to listen to the speeches and/or debates and to provide written feedback on ballots. There are orientation sessions before each round to prepare judges and to answer questions. This investment in our students -- from a variety of judges with different backgrounds, beliefs and political leanings -- will help them learn to communicate effectively and debate critically but graciously; this is a worthy goal to counter today's often toxic public discourse.
